The One-Day project management course is designed as a general introduction to project management.
It covers the key concepts including Gantt charts, PERT charts, milestones, and work breakdown structures (WBS).
It also includes a module on project teamworking based on the Belbin team role inventory.
Participants spend time producing both a WBS and a PERT chart as a way of ensuring that they truly understand the concept of milestones - the key to successful project management.
Both a course description and a draft agenda are available under
Downloads.
| Note: | Participants will be invited to complete a Belbin Team Role Inventory based on a Self Assessment and four Observer Assessments.
This is not compulsory, but adds considerable value to the discussions on project teamwork. |
