The 2½-Day workshop is similar to the 2-Day workshop except that we include a session on problem solving (usually based on a local problem of immediate relevance to the host organisation): we find that this is a very useful component of the overall workshop.
Additionally, they receive tuition in the use of MS Project (or other PM software of choice) and have an opportunity to set up their own plans and to produce Gantt and PERT charts.
We always ask that the half day is spaced from the initial (teaching) part of the workshop by ten days or so. This provides and opportunity for people to "polish" their plans and, indeed, some come along with completely new plans.

will require three or four client projects to plan during the workshop. Participants will be invited to complete a Belbin Team Role Inventory based on a Self Assessment and four Observer Assessments.
This is not compulsory, but adds considerable value to the discussions on project teamwork. |
